OVERVIEW
Stephanie Urbina Jones was born in a bi-cultural home in San Antonio, Texas where she grew up hearing sounds from both sides of the border. Her rich tapestry of music combines her life experiences and the sound that influenced her soul. From country rock to Latin pop, she has created a style all her own. This unique artist is poised to be the very first Hispanic American female to break through country music. Drawing from her passion to honor her heritage through her music she became the first independent female to reach #1 on the Texas chart.
Jones transcends all borders of the musical world. She is not only a proven songwriter and vocalist; she is an electrifying performer and television actor with a presence and spirit that is infectious. Her Mexican heritage plays a strong role in her music, but does not limit her in any way. Her natural beauty, radiant smile, and zest for life only add to her unique and universal appeal.
Stephanie has just completed her new album, Fiery Angel, to be released in 2008. Fiery Angel was produced by Grammy winning producer Glenn Rosenstein.
